There have been lots of life changes since my last update. Most notably, this spring, my husband and I decided to do a little remodel on our east Phoenix home before our baby boy arrives in September. We currently own a property in Tempe that we purchased in 2021. We’ve since made that home a rental and in 2022 purchased our current home in Phoenix. We would have liked to make an additional home purchase this year, however, with rates where they’re at we decided to hold off until we could make our present home “rentable.”
Instead, we chose to do a small remodel to open up the floor plan and make more usable space to accommodate our new addition and changing lifestyle.
We finished our remodel at the beginning of June and just a few weeks ago completed baby Beckham’s room (pictured above). This house, which we only planned on living in for a short amount of time, has quickly become home, and we can’t wait to share it with our first baby.
