Just before school gets out and the weather is too warm to be anywhere but the pool, we think you deserve a night out. So we have rounded up some of our favorite, unique date night spots that we think you’ll enjoy (and maybe even wish you had thought of sooner)!
Happy Hour History Tour at the Arizona Biltmore
Be ready to impress your date with your Arizona history knowledge at the Happy Hour History Tour at the Valley’s beloved Arizona Biltmore Resort. Sip champagne or one of the resort’s signature Tequila Sunrises while learning about the highlights of the resorts’ history — from presidential visits to prohibition era parties.
Coffee Tasting at Press Coffee
Saturday coffee run gets a whole new spin. Taking place at various Press Coffee locations weekly on Saturday mornings, these hands-on cupping sessions provide java lovers a chance to sample four distinct coffees while learning about the journey from seed to cup.
Swing Dancing at The Duce
Take them for a swing – literally, with swing dancing lessons. Every Tuesday night from 7 to 8 p.m., The Duce offers free swing lessons during the South Central Swing Nite. By the way, The Duce also has great food and signature cocktails!
Phoenix Art Museum
When the weather starts to get warm, talk a walk – inside! Every Wednesday night you can stroll through the Phoenix Art Museum for free. Take in the new exhibits and one-of-a-kind art for an artsy date night.
Peace at Japanese Friendship Garden
Explore the downtown oasis known as the Japanese Friendship Garden. The walkable pathways wind through a lush green landscape peppered with plants native to Japan, koi-filled ponds, and cultural sculptures. Keep in mind that the garden is intended to be a space of harmony. Ahhh, so this is what the sound of a no-kids screaming zone sounds like? We feel peaceful already.
