The best thing about Arizona during the fall and winter season is hands down the weather! But, as we like to say, “with great weather, comes great responsibility” to get outside and enjoy those cooler temperatures as much as possible!

This fall, there are plenty of amazing family-friendly food festivals to attend, and we’ve got the scoop on all of them:

Arizona Taco Festival

Because what’s better than tacos? On October 13 – 14, 2018, the taco revolution returns as the 9th annual Arizona Taco Festival takes over 10 acres of grass at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale. One of the largest and most exciting food festivals in the nation, the 2018 AZ Taco Fest will feature everything from live bands and lucha libre wrestling, to eating contests and the popular Chihuahua dog beauty pageant.

Over 60 restaurants are preparing tacos for $2 each. Tickets are $12 online, $15 at the gate, and kids 12 and under are free. $100 VIP tickets also available with tacos and drinks included. Arizona Taco Festival.

Phoenix Pizza Festival

On November 17th, top pizza makers will come together for a beautiful day out in the November sunshine at Margaret T. Hance Park for the Fourth Annual Phoenix Pizza Festival! All vendors will offer $2-$4 sample pizzas as well as half and whole pies for you and your family/friends to enjoy. There will be live music, lots of local businesses to meet, and an interactive kid’s craft zone. Tickets are $10, kids under 5 are free. Pizza Fest.

Downtown Donut Festival

We can’t wait to sink our teeth into this one. The very first Downtown Donut Festival will take place over at Margaret T. Hance park in Phoenix on Sunday, November 18. Festivalgoers can devour delicious donuts from over 15 of the best local donut shops. Craft beer, mimosas, coffee, music, a kids zone and sunshine will be the icing on the donut. Tickets are $8 for adults, kids under 5 are free. Downtown Donut Fest.

Spooktacular Balloon Festival

Why wait for Halloween when the 8th annual Spooktacular Balloon Festival is returning to Salt River Fields on Friday and Saturday, October 26 – 27, 2018 from 5-9:30 pm. Don’t miss the dozens of glowing hot air balloon rides, nightly firework shows, live music and more. Kids of all ages will love this spectacularly spooky festival featuring a pumpkin patch and a free KidsZone.

Not to mention, more than 20 majestic hot air balloons illuminating the sky as they participate in the world’s longest continuous glow at over 3 hours. Tethered balloon rides also available for kids and family looking to “soar” into the night’s sky. Tickets are $10 for kids, $15 for adults. Salt River Fields.

Four Peaks Oktoberfest

Four Peaks Oktoberfest is returning to Tempe Town Lake for its 46th year on October 12 – 14.
