Summer – and especially summer holidays – are looking very different this year. While we know the family pets will be happy about most fireworks displays being cancelled for the holiday, we also know they are probably the only ones! The good news is, with a little creativity and planning, your 4th of July holiday can be a super fun and memorable one.
The traditional fare of hot dogs, apple pie, and corn on the cob is a given, but here are some ideas to take the celebration to the next level!

The sky is the limit here! With a quick internet search, we found patriotic dessert recipes that will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth, like these Coconut Water & Berry Popsicles, holiday Rice Krispie Treats, and homemade ice cream sandwiches decorated with red, white and blue sprinkles.
Plan a Few Activities
Get everyone involved with a fun 4th of July Scavenger Hunt, a round or two of holiday trivia, and if you have a pool, set up your own dive-in movie with a blow-up screen or sheet and inexpensive projector.
Take in Some Fireworks
